Mat 9:35-38 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
James 5:16 " The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

As we have the command and the promise of our God from whom, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change", (James 1:17) and as such is our great hope why don't we covenant together to earnestly pray to that end.
