But I will have to respectfully disagree. Look at the way John the Baptizer preached the Gospel of the Kingdom, and then how it is taken up by Jesus. It doesn’t really fit your paradigm.

Now by that, I am not saying that CANNOT be a starting point – only that it does not HAVE to be our starting point. Eventually we must communicate it it is true. But we may begin say – as Paul does on Mars Hill – simply getting out WHO God is before anything else.

I believe your first point is misleading and nonsensical because 1 John 5:19 We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.
