What love is this? What grace is this?

What mercy past all knowing

That God would dare become a man

Eternal life bestowing

What wonder see; What glory shines

To us this child is given

Born of flesh and blood like ours

To die and then be risen

Behold the Babe: Behold the man

Both God and man in one

To live fulfilling all God’s Law

Till all redemption’s done

Here hear Him speak; There see Him heal

God’s Kingdom now drawn near

And walks the King beside His own

So few would give Him ear

Still blessing all; Still making known

The Father’s saving plan

To make of Him The sacrifice

For all the sins of Man

There in the stall; The manger bed

The Lamb has to us come

“Tis Christ, the Baby Jesus

The lone – begotten – Son
